Appalling commentary. A bogan spin on the white history of Darwin. Cringeworthy. And never ending. Went to the upper level to try and escape it but no luck. Seeing Darwin on foot now. BTW some brilliant history at the NT Galkery & Museum.

I wanted to see as much of Darwin as I could, so I had a look at the route for this service.. .truthfully you can't do it justice in one day and really need a two day pass for this bus. Through the Visitor Centre that is what I arranged... and they were able to ensure the two days were not consecutive. All I had to do is notify the driver of what day I wished the second day to be, when I traveled that first time.
There is commentary on the bus that is amusing and informative. The staff on board were quite good, one gentleman in particular went the extra distance. (Friday 21st -early shift)
I managed to see most things on the tour... I was very conscious of the time when I left the service, knowing my time was limited to catch the required service back. A few things could certainly improve this... they have a couple of stops that are by request only... Cullen Bay would be a great place to go and have breakfast, but alas it only stops at the ferry and on a hot day... bit yucky to walk. Parap Street is also by request only ... there is a Qantas Hangar nearby that might be interesting to see, but there is a fear getting off at that stop in case you are overlooked on the return.
For the most part... I really enjoyed my two day pass and would recommend this to others.

This is nice short hop on hop off bus ride that gives you plenty of time to see the sights without spending all day on the bus.
