We contacted Rob as the result of a referral when planning our adult family, wet season trip, to the Darwin, Kakadu and Litchfield. We specifically wanted a knowledgeable local guide to share their experience and to maximise the limited time we had available. He recommended a flexible approach to the day given there was no guarantee re which sights would be open. Our day started with an 8am pickup from Litchfield Tourist Park and a lively chat about the potential threats to the park from.mining exploration, tourism and sustainability of this beautiful landscape for.the future. It was clear from the getgo that Rob is a passionate advocate for this part of the world. We arrived at the Cascades and preceded our hike with some wonderful home made mango muffins and coffee to fuel our aprrox 2hour hike into the bush. The diversity in the landscape, glimpses of local wild life, and stream swimming was thoroughly enjoyed by the whole group. Rob gave us insightful, informative and entertaining commentary the whole way. He was also extremely supportive of the variation in levels of fitness and mobility within the group. After the Cascades we went on to Wangi Falls and stopped for a delicious home made salad lunch at the base of a wetland area. Plenty of water top ups were also available to keep us hydrated. After lunch we stopped for another refreshing swim at Florence falls. The final stop and afternoon tea of homemade anzac biscuts was at the termite mounds, a surreal sight with the backdrop of black rain clouds rolling in. We got back to camp at about 4.30 having had the best day. Rob is fabulous bloke and kept us entertained, informed and well fed & watered. Our day was significantly enhanced by having him on board. Added value to our trip without doubt!

Ethical Adventures and it’s owner/tour guide Rob showed us Kakadu and Litchfield in style. Small groups travelling in his well equipped, comfortable vehicle made our 2 day Kakadu and 1 day in Litchfield a joy. Rob’s passion for the Top End is infectious and his knowledge of the environment and it’s challenges was shared with his wonderful enthusiasm on his home turf. The homemade treats along the way were the icing on the cake!
