Despite getting our dates wrong, Filippo organised a trip for us with less than a days notice. Our driver and guide was Dale who was very friendly, a lot of fun , enthusiatic and easy going. She drove expertly over the rocky terrain and took us on the longer walk which was truly beautiful. As Melbournites we especially appreciated the stove top coffee and home made cakes. One minor criticism would be that we would have expected a better lunch for the money. Highly recommend.

Thanks to Filippo Gelada and his Outback Elite tours are long overdue. He was the only operator we could find in Alice Springs’ September Covid 19-ravaged tourism sector to make a trip to Palm Valley a reality. I think it’s fair to say he left no stone unturned and the upshot was that at short notice Andrew Langford became our tour guide. Andrew is a man of many talents – a sought-after didgeridoo player willing to give us an open-air workshop, a horticulturist explaining the families of plants around us, as well as knowledgeable about the area’s geology, something which is often neglected. He was able to answer our questions about communities and artists, having worked in the region for over 30 years. We appreciated him accommodating our son with disabilities, plus he was mean negotiator of creek beds in the state of the art 4WD. The food was good too...After being in NT for two weeks, this trip to the Finke Gorge National Park was something else with the ampitheatre at Kalarranga Lookout the highlight. Thanks for making it possible Filippo and Andrew!

My friend and I purchased a VIP tour of Palm Valley through Outback Elite Tours. Our guide Andrew was excellent and knew a lot of interesting information about a range of subjects - geology, aboriginal stories, music, plants and spiritual connections. He was willing and able to tailor the excursion to suit our interests. It was a wonderful day and we learnt a lot.
It was easy to get the information and to book the tour. Everything including our lunch was fresh and tailored to our needs.
Worth going with Phillipo and Andrew.
