  • 8 year old is the minimum age to participate to this tour. Parents/tutors are fully responsible for their kids. Parents/tutors need to provide a forward-facing restraint or booster seat for kids from the age of 4 to under the age of 7. Parents/tutors need to provide booster seat for kids over the age of 7 when still too small.
This experience is non-refundable and cannot be changed for any reason. If you cancel or ask for an amendment, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

We were picked up spot on time from our Hotel & chatted to our guide all the way out to Rainbow Valley. There were only two of us on the tour so it was an excellent opportunity to ask lots of questions. On arrival we were guided to the site & then left to explore by ourselves. When we got back to the car park there was an amazing grazing board, cool drinks & bubbly waiting for us. We sat, chatted & nibbled whilst the sun when down. Overall a great experience.

We chose to take the Outback Elite private tour to Rainbow Valley and I am so glad we did. Our guide Chris was welcoming, a fount of knowledge on all things relevant to this trip and a great story teller. We had plenty of time to explore Rainbow Valley before sunset, taking a walk along the boardwalks and spending some time at Mushroom rock. I enjoyed the leisurely pace which allowed ample time to photograph the landscape from many angles and to plan my sunset shooting position. We had canapés and fine wine to enjoy before the sunset. After the sunset, we had a look at the stars on the way out and observed the International Space Station passing over the valley. How did we know? As I said, Chris has an abundance of wonderful information to help you enjoy your trip. So, if we ever pass through the Red Centre again, I will definitely be taking advantage of an Outback Elite tour to some of the remoter areas that are not easily accessible (think restrictions on your rental car agreement). I gratefully thank both Filippo and Chris for giving us a memorable afternoon/evening.
