The Top Didj Cultural Experience has been developed to offer visitors to the Katherine Region, a unique cultural interaction with the aboriginal people. This is achieved by introducing Manuel Pamkal from the Dalabon tribe. Manuel will teach visitors the traditional way of living in the bush as he experienced as a child. He will tell stories and showcase traditional activities such as fire lighting, spear throwing with a woomera and painting whilst educating visitors about aboriginal culture and way of life.

Top Didj & Art Gallery, Katherine, Northern Territory, Australia If you have come to the NT to have an aboriginal experience, Top Didj can give this to you by introducing you to Manuel Pamkal from the Dalabon tribe. First you will receive a wrist band embossed with Manuel's tribe. Manuel will then showcase the rich culture of the indigenous people of the area by talking to you about the traditional way of living in the bush as he experienced as a child. He will teach you the art of rarrk painting, make fire with two sticks, and test your skills at throwing a spear with a woomera. View or purchase authentic aboriginals art, good quality souvenirs and best didgeridoos in the NT.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

The artist was not there. The art is nice but do not expect anything special. The lady behind the desk did not seem very interested in the visitors.

This was an amazing and interesting experience! Manuel was lovely, patient and very open and giving of his time and of sharing his story. I highly recommend ❤️ thankyou for such a wonderful experience ????

This cultural experience was so much fun. Manuel is so lovely and friendly. He had great stories and gave everyone insight into indigenous culture. The spear throwing and fire making was so cool! Absolutely loved this.
