This is a full day 8-hour private tour to Terra Cotta Warriors and 2 city attractions of your choice. Private guide and driver with whole day transfer are all included, except for entrance tickets and lunch. Meet your private guide and driver at your request time in your hotel lobby or Airport exit according to your booking. Explore the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum for about 2.5 ~3 hours according to your pace and after lunch, you will visit two more city attractions. You will be dropped off at your hotel or airport at the end based on your booking option. Lunch is flexible and available after Terracotta tour, your private guide will take you to anthentic local restaurant if you need.

  • The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, Xi'an, Shaanxi, China
    Your private guide and driver will meet you in your hotel lobby around 08:30 or you request time, one hour drive to Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, around 3 hours enjoyable visit to museum pit 1, pit 2, pit 3 and Bronze Chariots all exhibition without any tourist factory stop. You will have local restaurant lunch before one hour drive back Xi’an downtown for 2 optional city attractions. Your guide and driver will drive you back hotel at end of this whole day tour.

  • Big Wild Goose Pagoda (Dayanta), Xi'an, Shaanxi, China
    Your first option is to visit Big Wild Goose Pogoda which is considered as one of the Xi'an History landmarks, Great Tang dynasty culture relics temple. Your private guide will tell you why the pogoda is leaning, what is the Buddhist philosophy, how is today China religion condition. A lot of monks and believers stay out in the yard if your visit time is the chanting day.

    This is the second attraction option, follow your guide to climb up to the top of the 600 years old Ancient City Wall, enjoy around 20~30 minutes comfortable and quietly walking or rent a bike enjoy 30 minutes fun cycling exercise on the top of the wall with your guide history explaination.

    This is the third attraction option.You will learn 6000 years old matriarchal clan information along the original village site which is devided into three parts: living house site, burial tombs site and pottery making kilns. A lot of vivid pictures,movie, models and videos are also helpful to understand that special "girl power" time life.

    The 4th option is a Daoism/Taoism temple which is famous and popular for Xi'an local people go there to pray,to listen monk chanting, to ask a fortune teller or to buy burial objects in the market nearby.

    The 5th option is Muslim Market or called Muslim Street in the afternoon, you will follow your guide explore Muslim snacks along the crowded street, big piles of limb skewers,yellow color sticky rice, stir fruit ice cream, nuts candy, beef burger.....you may stay 1 hour here or longer based on your request.

Do to a family matter I had to cancel my tour at the last minute. Cathrine Lu was amazing. She went above and beyond helping me out in a time of crisis. She helped me get to the the airport and get checked in on time. I can't recommend Cathrine Lu tours high enough. This lady has integrity, knowledge beyond belief and kindness. I will use Cathrine Lu tours every time I got to China. I will see you soon Cathrine. Thanks Again!!!

Catherine Lu tours arranged for a day trip for us to visit XI'an from Beijing. From our airport pickup at XI'an to being dropped off we had a wonderful day and it was made even better because of our fantastic tour guide Rosa. We visited the terra-cotta warriors site, the XI'an wall and the exotic food market street in the Muslim Quarter. Rosa was very knowledgeable in what she knew at each place we visited and her English was excellent so we could easily understand her. Rosa took us to a local restaurant for lunch where we had some traditional Chinese food which was delicious and we all left very full. We had the best day and I highly recommend using Catherine Lu tours and ask for Rosa for your tour guide.

What a great experience. Catherine was so fantastic. She was very professional, on time and very accommodating. We traveled with our two boys, 13 and 16 and she kept them interested by her knowledge of China as well as the Terra Cotta Warriors. I would strongly recommend Catherine and her driver for any trips.
