Our trip to Xi-an was Fantastic! First of all, our guide - Evan - couldn't have been better. He picked us up from the hotel, and took us to the Terracotta Warriors. Wow. Then to a restaurant he liked for Lunch, and ordered local foods for us. Next to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. A quick rest at our hotel, then off to the Tang Dynasty Dinner Show. While that was a little touristy, the Dumplings were great, and the show was pretty. I highly recommend this tour, and especially if you can get Evan as a guide. He was knowledgeable, funny, and a great communicator!

Hello, All Traveling Colleagues!
D and I have enjoyed our times with Owen, our tour guide in Xian. Owen was very much of well-informed, so enthusiastic about Xians history, provided extra efforts to assist on our Transportation as we requested, and very carefully catered to our diet in trying those authentic Xians entrees. He was surly to make us feeling very comfortable and happy to our times with him throughout the entire tour!
Tips:
Wear comfortable lite sun protection clothes
Wear sunscreen cream on your body and face
Bring your sunglasses
Bring your own napkins or will be purchased
Bring some toilet papers from your hotel coz some public restrooms are not providing them
Dont expect AC and Ice cold water everywhere not culturally things popular in China
Be prepare to go through security several times
All historical places that we visited were very crowded most of the times and warm atmosphere. This tour is inspiring and expanding more our knowledge about The First Chinese Emperor how was all came about! As a summary, we have enjoyed and educated a lot more in depth of Xians culture, people, foods, entertainment, and the First Chinese Emperor!!!
We are Definitely is a YES! recommending this Private Tour to Travelers! You will get your money well-spent and worth of your times to learn a lot about The First Chinese Emperor, culture, foods, and entertainment, etc.

Tour: Excellent busy tour the night before our guide Rosemary (Xin Fan) got in touch with us to reconfirm our tour with times and location pick-up which was in the lobby. We set out 8:00am for a drive 1hour from our central located hotel to the sites of the Terra-cotta army. Lovely drive in an air conditioned vehicle and plenty of water to hand. On Route Rosemary got to know us and then told us a brief history of the surrounding landscape and history of Xi'an certainly breaks up the drive. Rosemary was a great guide and got us right up to speed to what we are planning on seeing to if we had any suggestions what we might want to do. Terra-Cotta warriors luckily enough it was a quiet day according to Rosemary and we could see and warriors from the side with not much hustling for a photo ops. Make sure to try and avoid public holidays as I heard the crowds are massive. Excellent knowledge from rosemary on the history and the many questions that we had on the warriors. we had a total 2 hours here but if you wanted longer that was no problem. Gift shop on site for the usual buys magnets books t-shirts but I did get one of the small warriors as they are better quality then outside the site. Drove to the Big Goose pagoda lovely stop plenty of knowledge and history - had the option to climb the pagoda or spend longer here but had plenty of time to cover in 1hour. As this was a private we asked Rosemary if possible to take us to freshen up back at hotel. Rosemary or the driver had no problem and drove us straight for just over an 1hour for ourselves before the night show with dinner which I recommend as it can get very warm and humid on the tour of the warriors and pagoda. Got to the show lovely traditional show and very vibrant in colour. we had excellent table allocation and the dumpling were nice. Glass complementary but option to buy additional drinks. Rosemary Left us off here we said our good byes and the driver returned us to the hotel after the night show.
Great tour and the tour guide really did help us to completly have a true understanding of the terracotta warriors and the emperors wishes and beliefs. Rosemary also had a great knowledge of the pagoda and very adpatable allowing us to change up the intenary slightly to suit ourselves
