Enjoy the countryside off the beaten track in a open top 4x4 with our knowledgable, experienced and fun guides. We will show you the Northwestern side of Madeira, you will meet the local traditions, culture, history, "levadas", forest, fauna & flora, waterfalls, swim at the volcanic lava pools, local food, traditional drinks including the "poncha". On this experience you will have a 15 minutes easy walk at a levada, you will see the Fanal forest with the native trees "Ocotea foetens" )some of these are over 500 years old). On this tour we will pass at , Serra d'Água, Ginjas, Estanquinhos, Paúl da Serra, Fanal, Ribeira da Janela, Porto Moniz, Seixal and São Vicente.

We had the fantastic Eduardo take us on a guided 4x4 off road tour. He was very knowledgeable, extremely friendly and professional. I can't recommend this highly enough. It was the highlight of my week in Madeira. If I could give more than 5 starts I would.

Der perfekte letzte Tag! Unser Guide, Gerhard, hat uns einen mit unvergessen, schönen Momenten vollen Tag beschert! Gestartet in einem kleinen Einheimischen Coffee Shop ging es Off-road und natürlich stehend im Geländewagen bergauf - actionreich mit atemraubenden Aussichten. Immer wieder gab es spannende Anekdoten über Madeira und auch interessante Fakten über die Vegetation vor Ort. Nach einem guten Mittagessen in Porto Moniz ging es dann weiter zum Schwimmen in die Vulkanbecken von Seixal, eine einmalige Erfahrung! Zum Schluss kehrten wir noch ein in eine der ältesten Poncha-Tavernen. Ausgezeichnete Ponchas - Ausgelassene Stimmung. Wir können nur jedem, der Madeira auf großartige Art & Weiße erleben will, diese Tour empfehlen - Do it!!

Probably the best tour guide I've ever had (Duarte), a very professional driver and knows a lot of interesting things about the island and its flora. He also excels at interacting with the people and keep everyone interested. Thank you for this excellent tour!
