More than just aurora viewing! Stay for 4nights and so lucky that not a night without Aurora~~ Though what I really enjoyed more was the passion of their guides, haha!!!!!! Super knowledgeable Verda & Claire who gave indepth and interesting info about Yellowknife, and even star glazing! They also provide free photography service, no worries at all if you cant take great picture like me :D. Their passion about aurora and yellowknife is extraordinary, this trip was definitely beyond aurora. (Love the Chinese restaurant they brought us too)

This is the best tour group in Yellowknife! Such warm, friendly and amazing people! I booked their City Tour as well as the Arctic Duchess Tour to see the Aurora. The aurora tour was amazing - Verda drove us to the Great Slave Lake - we were on the frozen lake! - and as soon as we stepped out of the bus, we saw the green lights changing shape and dancing across the sky! Renee took wonderful and many many photos of all those in the group. Then we moved to the Arctic Duchess, a decommissioned ship. There was a heated tent to thaw ourselves when we needed to from waiting for the aurora to appear. Verda and Renee made sure everyone was comfortable, having a good time, and checked on me several times as I was the only solo traveler in the tour group. The next day, Verda was kind enough to accommodate me into the city tour although I requested it at the last minute. She told me about the history of the place, showed me all the sights, and made sure I had enough pictures to remember this trip by! Standing on the ice road looking down into the frozen lake was the high point of my city tour. I had also booked another tour the next day with a different tour group - but I have to say, this one is my favorite. They are definitely running a competent business, but they make your experience more than a checklist and a transaction. They will not only give you your money's worth, but also genuinely look after you, befriend you and try to go beyond their call of duty to help your Yellowknife experience become a memory of a home away from home.

We participated 5 activities, such as city view and dog sledding, Yellowknife Tours Ltd. organized on Dec 30, 2002 to Jan. 2 and they provided excellent services to us. All employees have been very nice and supportive. Also, they took a few excellent pictures for us with their professional camera. They provided those services without extra charge. I am highly impressed by the professionalism Yellowknife Tours Ltd's boss and its employees. I would highly recommend Yellowknife Tours Ltd. to my friends and families.
