We will pick up our guests at each hotel and take all guests to different lake locations, find a good place to enjoy the aurora viewing and relax on our luxury bus. You will appreciate the northern lights around the lake and see the reflection on the lake when the aurora appears. Our tour guide will also take pictures for all guests and teach them how to use their cameras to shoot the Northern Lights. During the trip, we will also provide guests with hot drinks and biscuits, as well as expertise on the Northern Lights and Yellowknife.

  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Last week my family joined the 4 days 3 nights tour with Yellowknife Tours and it was an unforgettable and excellent experience. Not only we were luckily enough to witness the amazing aurora under -30 deg. C, the day time activities they offered were equally enjoyable, culture-oriented and adventurous. Unlike the other tour companies, they will not hard sell anything to its customers. Most importantly, the staffs are all very friendly, detailed oriented, hard-working and did everything they could to accommodate their customers' need. They were just amazing! Heartfelt thanks to CK, Angela, Verda, Angus, Phyllis, Janet and Joey! My family simply felt like we were visiting old friends who live in Yellowknife! Definitely will visit the town again with Yellowknife Tour in the near future!

Did 5 days 4 nights diamond package with Yellowknife tours. Very organized. Angela and Verda were amazing and they were so involved with all the activities and made sure all the guests feel comfortable. All the other guides especially Angus, Janet, Ivan were all very helpful with taking photos and very patient. Recommended!

The whole organisation was really good and the people were soo nice and they try their best to give you unforgettable moments... After booking, I was asked questions about pickup promptly and the interaction from there was very smooth and helpful (she dropped me off at the guesthouse)! We enjoyed the Wildlife Preserve and Takhini Hot Spring tour and also we were very happy to see the Aurora Borealis on our last night. The hot chocolate you could supply on the bus was also really delicious!
