We will pick up our guests at each hotel and take all guests to different lake locations, find a good place to enjoy the aurora viewing and relax on our luxury bus. You will appreciate the northern lights around the lake and see the reflection on the lake when the aurora appears. Our tour guide will also take pictures for all guests and teach them how to use their cameras to shoot the Northern Lights. During the trip, we will also provide guests with hot drinks and biscuits, as well as expertise on the Northern Lights and Yellowknife.

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

It was well-organized. Janet was amazing—she helped us set up the camera and was very enthusiastic about explaining and exploring the lights. She did her best to ensure that everyone enjoyed the experience. We really enjoyed it and absolutely recommend it!

Very beautiful dancing Aurora was coming out all the time during the tour. Janet helped me setting my camera and many advices. She has a passion to let everyone to make sure enjoy. Ivan was taking a photo and providing food which was very delicious. Verda will solve your issue if you have. Winnie is good plannner. If you have no plan at begging of your stay, Ask her.

It was an amazing experience with Yellow Knife Tour, we went there 3 days (3 nights 9pm -1/2am) and we saw the northern lights! We have this fantastic tour guide, Janet who doubles up as our photographer and took many professional pictures for us & ensure we received it when we wake up the next morning this was an incredible service going above & beyond her core duties ! She goes the extra mile even though is not part of her role as guide to do that , stood in the cold taking all our pictures checking on the sky / forecast for Northern lights! She can speak multiple languages as well, English, Mandarin Cantonese and Korean :) She is truly a GEM!
