Absolutely first rate company and experience. Seeing the Aurora in the NWT has been a bucket list trip that we finally made happen and we were not disappointed. The staff from Yellowknife tours were first rate - from airport pick up, through all of the tours, and finding the most spectacular lights - we couldn't be happier. We learned SO much - about the city and area, the history and of course the aurora. Thanks to all of the team for making this an unforgettable experience.
We joined a 5D4N tour in late September. Yellowknife Tours is a good choice for those who want a fruitful visit and experience in Yellowknife. They have experienced tour guides to show you around the city. They are friendly, helpful and attentive to everyone. We visited Legislative Assembly, Northern Heritage Center, Pilot’s monument, the Great Slave Lake, the home of Dene people, etc. Also, we went hiking and picnic in a morning. A 30-minute hike led us to the Cameron Falls. The view is stunning there. Last but not least, they brought us to a different site to wait for the northern lights every night. We went to lakes, cabin and aurora station. The cozy cabin owned by Tracey is awesome. She served us with freshly made bannock and fish chowder soup which were really tasty even though I’m not a big fan of fish.
