Susanne was a fantastic guide! She was flexible and let us determine what we wanted to prioritize. Learning the history of Nuremberg, visiting the old part of the city was great. It’s beautiful!
We also went to where the Nuremberg trials were held for the Nazis after WWII and learned quite a lot about them which was fascinating. The Nazi rally grounds aren’t much to see any more. We were there in 2009 and it’s totally different now as the are using the space for sports fields and outdoor events. Not worth the trip out there.
We had a wonderful lunch in Nuremberg by picking a beer garden we were walking by. Susanne was extremely helpful getting us into the restaurant, as well as getting us on the trains on time and directing us on the subways as well. She met us at our hotel in Munich.
Our group was 9 family members traveling together - 2 couples and 5 “kids” aged 22-27.
