The Major War Criminals Trial was held before the International Military Tribunal in Nuremberg from November 20, 1945 to October 1, 1946. As a result of this trial, Courtroom 600 of the Nuremberg Palace of Justice gained worldwide notoriety. From 1946 to 1949, 12 "Subsequent Trials" were held in the same courtroom before exclusively U. S. American military tribunals. .
Still to this day, in the southeast corner of Nuremberg, the remains of structures located on the former Nazi Party Rally Grounds impress visitors with their immense proportions and stand as vivid testimony to the megalomania of the National Socialist regime. This area of 4 square miles was intended to be an impressive backdrop for the Nazi party rallies and serve to demonstrate their power not only to Germany, but to the entire world.

Reichsparteigelande (Nazi Party Rally Grounds), Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany The Nazi Party Rally Grounds were called the area in the southeast of Nuremberg, where the Nazi Party rallies of the NSDAP took place from 1933 to 1938. The overall design for the design of the site came from Albert Speer in the basic concept and from Walter Brugmann in detail, who also managed the implementation. It covers a total area of over 16.5 km². 120 minutes
Documentation Center Nazi Party Rally Grounds, Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany Documentation Center Nazi Party Rally Grounds. From 1933 to 1938, the National Socialists held their Party Rallies in Nuremberg. Today remains of huge structures still bear witness to how this propaganda display was organized and produced. 30 minutes
Zeppelinfeld, Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany is located east of the Great Road. It consists of a large grandstand (Zeppelinhaupttribüne) with a width of 360 metres (390 yards) and a smaller stand. It was one of Albert Speer's first works for the Nazi party and was based upon the Pergamon Altar. Its square piers are inspired by the work of Franco-American architect Paul Philippe Cret. The grandstand is famous as the building that had the swastika blown from atop it in 1945, after Germany's fall in World War II. The name "Zeppelinfeld" or "Zeppelinwiese" refers to the fact that in August 1909 Ferdinand Graf von Zeppelin landed with one of his airships (LZ6) in this location. 30 minutes

The trip was fine but I wouldn’t rate it outstanding. Tour guide was knowledgeable. They did not pick us up at our hotel as we were told. Emailed us that morning to tell us we needed to met them. We did not have enough time in the courthouse to see everything.

We took this tour on 9 December. The tour guide spent a great deal of time talking to the small group, trying to describe how the Nazi Party came to power, but his dialogue was delivered in a series of statements that left us wondering what point he was trying to make at any given time; he appeared to be almost constantly struggling to deliver comprehensible statements in a language (English) in which he lacks fluency. As a military officer and student of WWII history, I found this tour to be very disappointing and grossly overpriced, but I also sensed the same reaction from others in our group. His grasp of the English language, presentation techniques (for example, using a very small picture of poor quality on a cell phone vs taking the time to bring printed materials), and his demonstrated degree of research and preparation were all inadequate for the task, and an insult when you consider how much people paid for this tour. Visitors will get much more value from a small amount of internet research and taking themselves on a self-guided tour.
