What sets my surfing lessons apart is the personalized, one-on-one attention you'll receive. Unlike group lessons, my private sessions are tailored entirely to your group. There are no other participants—just your group and your instructor, allowing for a customized experience that focuses on your specific skill level, goals, and pace. Whether your group are complete beginners or looking to refining techniques, the lesson is designed around your groups needs, ensuring faster progress and a more enjoyable time in the water. It's all about maximizing your groups learning and comfort in a way that suits you best.
  • All equipment will be provided including: surfboard, surf leash and rash guard
  • Please wear your swimsuit and reef safe sun screen. Rashguards help to protect arms & shoulders.

We did a semi-private lesson for 2 with Conor, and it was so amazing. We surfed Chun’s Reef around 8 am, and the waves were perfect for beginners. Conor assessed where we were at as surfers and taught us a lot of helpful adjustments. By the end, we were each standing and riding the waves in. I definitely learned so much and feel way more confident out on the water! Conor also gave us some tips on places to checkout on the North Shore while we were up there for the day. I would definitely take another lessons with Catch’a Wave!

Connor and Jake are such a perfect ying and yang pair. Even though they have slightly different takes on how hard to push you, they are still both very safe, knowledgeable, patient, and super friendly. My husband and I were able to stand up and ride both easy and hard waves with their clear guidance and assistance. They really take their time making sure you understand the logistics of getting up on the board as well as safety and proper surfer etiquette before taking you out into the water. We would highly recommend you book a tour with these guys because it's very inexpensive for the quality instruction you get! We would also recommend you try and book an early time slot since there's lots of surfers out there and the beach gets crowded quickly. Our only regret is not having had the time to take more lessons with them! P.S. If you want to watch some funny surfer movies, Jake gives great recommendations!
