  • Laguna Ventanilla, Mazunte, Oaxaca, Mexico
    We will begin this magical adventure with a small trip approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes away from Bahías de Huatulco, there is Ventanilla, which is classified as a Protected Natural Reserve; We will take a walking tour along a path of approximately 15 min to board the boat driven by rowing by people from the same town. During the tour of the boat we will observe the different types of mangroves unique to the region and where different species of reptiles live , birds (such as: the woodpecker, the kingfisher, the diving duck), herons, crocodiles and iguanas, all these species will surprise us during this great experience.

    During our round trip pickup between Huatulco, Ventanilla and Puerto Angel we will be able to discover along the road, the peasant world of the coast with its traditional farms, pineapple, coconut palm, corn, sesame, and mango plantations. , of seven varieties of bananas without forgetting the zebu cattle with their brahma bulls that carry a ball of fat on their back. Croc tour was magic. Really enjoyed this close up experience. Turtle museum is a disgraceful treatment of such beautiful creatures. 3 beach stops and lunch break were poor and polluted. 5 /5 for the croc tour but unfortunately the other 8.5 hours forces me to rate the trip 2/5. Ohh did I mention the approx 600 speed bumps and continuously winding roads. My advice is to find a direct to and fro tour just to the croc site . Approx 1 1/2 hours each way and allow 2 hrs for the crocs.

I had so much fun on this tour! The crocodiles were incredible and I learned so much! Roger was the best guide ever making sure I understood everything in English and making the day awesome!
