Get ready for an afternoon away from civilization. Beginning with a pick up at your hotel and accompanied by expert riders, saddle up on one of the local highly-trained horses as we trot along the local farmland and into a world where fantasies come alive. Along the way, feast your eyes on the mountains in the backdrop, farm animals greeting you with neighs and moos as you pass them by, and families of birds flying in a choreographed pattern.

This is a fantastic tour and Juan Carlos was a great guide. We started out on the horses walking and trotting through some agricultural land and ended up at the beach, where we galloped in the sand (optional), stopped for a cold drink and to rest the horses, saw the sunset, and rode back to the starting point, all in about 4-5 hours. The horses were docile and easy to ride, and one person in our group had had no riding experience at all and did fine. Probably the high point of our stay in Puerto Escondido. Juan Carlos was super sweet and made sure we were always having a good time. Highly recommend.

Horse back riding tour with Eco Adventures and our driver/guide Mario was amazing!! We had an incredible time. Beautiful countryside; mountains in the background and of course the beach! Jairo was also very helpful and his family's horses are so sweet. It was a real adventure to remember! Highly recommend!

This is unacceptable. I purchased a beach horse-back ride and after they dropped me off I was told we would not be going on the beach. This is completely dishonest and I want my money back. Very disappointed that bookings made on Viator cannot be trusted.
