The center is named after Heydar Aliyev, the first secretary of Soviet Azerbaijan from 1969 to 1982, and president of Azerbaijan Republic from October 1993 to October 2003.

A wonderful introduction to Baku. Our guide, Ramiz was very knowledgeable, respectful, and took every opportunity to explain and informed us as we went around the key sights. It was at an easy pace. Lunch was delicious, and the service at the restaurant was very warm and welcoming. Overall, great experience!

Baku is quite a fascinating city with a rich history. Our tour guide shared some key insights regarding the city's culture and traditions. We ended with a lovely dinner at a small restaurant which added value to our experience. I'd recommend this tour to aspiring travelers. Its really worth it!!

The guide was a young student very kind and polite but not prepared. We didn’t learn anything interesting about the town. The tour was shorter than expected. However I have to say that since I complained with the tour operator about it, they give me, as a form so reimbursement a free ride to the airport. So I appreciate their effort to compensate for the bad experience.
