    We will meet you at your hotel (pickup address) and start our private wonderful tour with ancient capital of Georgia - Mtskheta wich 30 minutes driving away from Tbilisi. Mtskheta is a museum city which is UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has been inhabited since 2500 years ago and was once the capital of the early Kingdom of Iberia. In this oldest town is located many ancient historical monumets as Pompey Bridge a stone bridge over the Kura River built in the time of Pompey the Great about 65 BC , Bebris Castle of 1st century and one of the most sacred place Svetitskhoveli Cathedral the main Christian Orthodox Cathedral, where Christ’s robe is said to be buried.

  • The Chronicle Of Georgia, Tbilisi, Georgia
    Our next stop is the chronicles of Georgia , huge stone monument that go by the different names , often called "Georgian Stonehenge" or "Georgian History Memorial" , monument depicts scenes from the 3,000-year history of Georgia and was designed and created by Zurab Tserteli, consists of 16 large columns that reach a height of around 35 meters each. Monument was built in 1985 during the period when Georgia was part is Soviet Union. The top part of the 30 meter tall columns feature most popular and powerful kings, queens and heroes of Georgia.     We will continue our tour to old part of Tbilisi where you will visit fallowing places : - Tbilisi sulphur pools - Bridge of Love - Waterfall - Meidan Bazar Tunnel - Gorgasali Monument - Mother of Georgia - Bridge of Peace - Tbilisi clock tower - Anchiskhati - Monument of Tamada - Shardeni Street We will also drive through main streets and pass : - Freedom square - Rustaveli avenue - Hero square - Agmashenebeli Avenue - President House

We had a very nice experience and this all wouldn’t be possible without our tour guide Gogi. He’s friendly and nice, even though the tour is supposed to be only for 6hrs but he accompanied us for like 8hrs which we really appreciate. We’ll definitely be back here! Tbilisi is such underrated place.

Mtskhete was special. So was the old town Tbilisi, the Slohur baths, the optional cable car and every single image I engraved in my memory. Our guide was a very punctual, highly professional very knowledgable George. The more we inquired the more he opened up his history, geography, literature and art related treasure chest. He always kept his client- guide distance but as we bombarded him with our detailed inquiries regarding the ancient, old and current Georgia, he lowered his gard and let his amateur side accompany his professionalism. He is worth what Viatour standards require. Thanks for your reliable services.
