Discover the Off-beat Old Goa, its fascinating Churches with grand facades, intricate interiors. Later visit spice plantation away from the packed beaches of Goa and savor a lip smacking Goan Lunch (group basis) hosted inside the plantation only. Also visit a 400 year Old Hindu temple known as "Mangeshi" temple, a reminiscent of erstwhile Hindu heritage of Goa before the Portuguese colonial rule.     Morning our guide will pick you from your hotel and proceed towards Old Goa. Constructed in 1619 AD, The Edifice of Se Cathedral is the largest church in Asia. With its superb Iberian façade, soaring ceilings, fabulous mosaic work, intricate wood and gilded carvings, the Se Cathedral, also sometimes called St. Catherine's cathedral is an absolute must-see for any visitor in Goa.

  • Basilica of Bom Jesus, Goa Velha, India
    This 400 year old Church site has got rich cultural and religious significance, the Basilica of Bom Jesus has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Literally translating to 'Holy Jesus', this is the only church in Old Goa that is not been plastered on the outside. The facade of the church has triangular roofing which is delicately carved with the initials 'IHS', which is an abbreviation for Jesuit emblem meaning 'Jesus, Saviour of Men'.

  • Mangeshi Temple, India
    Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this 400 year old temple has been mesmerizing devotees and visitors with its simplistic beauty for the last 400 years. The temple is adorned with a refreshing water body. According to some, this is one of the oldest parts of the temple. There is also a seven storied lamp tower in the temple complex. There are also a few shrines dedicated to the family deities which are located within the temple complex.

Our driver and an amazing guide picked us up right on time, we visited several interesting spots and below 02 were the most memorable: The Basilica of Bom Jesus was truly a memorable experience. This historic church carries a deep sense of spirituality and architectural beauty. If you’re in Goa, this iconic site is definitely a must visit. A symbol of Goa’s colonial history and religious heritage, and offers a calm break from the beaches and parties. The scenic Spice plantation: A Wonderful 100-acre private property, we tour a small part of it with a guide that educated us about the therapeutic, cooking properties of the various herbal plants grown there. The visits were followed by a sumptuous lunch buffet and is worth it. Highly recommended for nature lovers, spice enthusiast, or someone looking for a break away from the beaches in Goa.

We booked this amazing tour since we wanted to visit Old Goa along with a fabulous spice planation visit. Goa has many faces! But Old Goa is just a stunning canvas painted with amazing architecture, colonial monuments, cobbled paths, and impressive scenery that is coastal.
