  • The meeting point is Plaza de Armas by the fountain. (Near Catalá Jewelry Store, Departamento del Estado and City Hall). If you plan on taking an Uber, input 'Alcaldía' (city hall) as Plaza de Armas does not appear. Look for the blue umbrella!

Pablo is extremely knowledgeable of interesting history and correlated it into our tour of the city and the dishes we ate. We learned a lot. The food was delicious and good sized portions for a tasting sample. We’re in our 50s and the walking was not strenuous. We’re did the tour with our adult children. They accommodated dishes for my vegetarian daughter. We all thoroughly enjoyed it.

Excellent way to spend an evening in Old San Juan! Our tour guide, Nico, was extremely informative, entertaining, and a gracious host. We really enjoyed the food, drinks, and historical information.

We had a group of 10 people ranging from 18 to 58 years old with various food constraints. Lorna, our guide, did a fantastic job of setting up the food options to accommodate everybody. She was enthusiastic, knowledgeable (about the food, drink and history) and read her audience well. We visited four locally owned establishments with food at all four and drinks at three of them. This is a great way to see and learn about Old San Juan. Book this early in your stay so you can use what you learn to inform decisions for the rest of the trip.
