This walking tour of Old town will focus on everything that makes Dubrovnik unique and it will take you off the beaten path. If you desire a "regular history tour" likes of which you can find in any city in the world there are many in town that will deliver it, but this is not it. We will explore lives of the ordinary people of the town, their beliefs and customs, courting rituals and relationship with ruling class. The tour will address Dubrovnik secrets, quirkiness and unique approach to problems since Dubrovnik Republic was a first to introduce numerous new concepts, many of which are still relevant today. Architecture will be addressed also but besides just the year of built and architectural stile we will talk about the stories behind each one. For more information I'll see you at the meeting point.

Really enjoyed this tour - Davor is very knowledgeable about the complex history of Dubrovnik, and related it well to various landmarks as we walked through the city. Recommended.

Fascinating tour, Davor is well-versed in the complex history of Dubrovnik and picked out interesting highlights as we made our way through the city. Particularly recommended if you're a history buff like me and want more depth than the standard city tour.
