To learn more about the oliveoil production. It was a very nice masseria with a nice owner who showed us around and talked about olives.

This was misrepresented as a 1 1/2 tour of olive oil tasting. In reality it was a 20 min brief chat about the history of the masseria and we tried 2 oils and were shown 2 trees. Lady was very nice but was a bit miffed when I said tour should be 1 1/2 hours. She said other people ask lots of questions and stare at a tree for 10 minutes. This tasting is available for free pretty much anywhere in Italy. Feel scammed and there is no way of complaining to Viator- they have no email address I can complain to about the experience!

The experience was supposed to be 1.5 hours and it ended up being 30 minutes. The tasting host struggled to speak English, so it was very difficult to ask questions and have conversation. Understandable that not everyone in Ostuni speaks English, but we requested English when we signed up. The Masseria was beautiful, and very easy to find!
