My husband and I signed up for Anita Zachou’s 2-hour olive oil tasting seminar. I could focus this review on how beautifully she presented us with 8 olive oils for tasting. Or, I could talk about her informative and personalized presentation. I could even spend this whole review describing her passion and phd-level knowledge. However, I want to speak about how she permanently changed my perspective on olive oil: how to buy it, how to use it, and how to tell definitely of it is truly extra virgin olive oil. It is something so different to experience on Mykonos. My biggest takeaway you ask? All the olive oil I have been using at home is rancid. I thought that that was the natural smell of olive oil—it is not, my friend!
Anita holds her seminar in Pili Beach restaurant and it is a beautiful setting. I highly recommend this!
