It’s hard to describe the feeling of approaching a desert to someone who has never seen one before. You can describe what you see; a drying of landscape, a browning of land and a slow disappearing of trees and shrubs and signs of life. Before, all of a sudden, the dunes appear. A sea of golden waves that appears to have no beginning and no end. You can show pictures and write words but portraying that feeling is harder. Wir waren Aufgrund einer Kreuzfahrt in Salalah. Pünktlich wurden wir direkt am Hafen abgeholt. Die Fahrt bis zur Wüste war sehr angenehm, unser Fahrer erklärte und erzählte uns viel über sich, sein Land und die Leute. Wir hatten viel Spaß und die Zeit verging wie im Flug. In der Wüste angekommen konnten wir unseren Augen kaum trauen, Sand soweit das Auge reicht. Wir hatten die Möglichkeit auszusteigen und die Wüste zu erkunden. Wer wollte durfte sogar selbst ein kleines Stück mit dem Gelendewagen durch die Wüste fahren. Auf dem Heimweg gab es noch einen kurzen Stop, bei dem wir Kamelfleisch probieren durften. Alles in allem ein sehr gelungener Ausflug den ich mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen kann. Die Kommunikation vorab war auch sehr problemlos über Waths App. Kate war immer erreichbar und antwortete innerhalb weniger Minuten. Auch eine kurzfristige Verschiebung auf einen Tag früher, war kein Problem. Vielen lieben Dank!

Beautiful desert sunset trip, totally recommend! Worth the money. Water and snacks were provided we stopped to have coffee a few times on the way :)
