    We depart Muscat to Nizwa, approximately 8:30 AM, the old capital of Oman. We pay a visit to the famous Nizwa Fortress. Today, the fort is a museum that showcases the history of the fort and surrounding area. Walking through the fortress you get to see amazing views of the ancient town and the nearby mountains. This impressive fortress was a base used in the military to hold off the hardest attacks and sieges.

Walking around the village of Misfath Al arbiyeen was amazing there's a lot of Palm trees around the area. The local people leaving there are so kind. Our guide was patient and friendly.

We spent the day with our guide Said, it was a wonderful day, he introduced us to delicious Omani sweets, we ate the best dates of our lives. The visit of the Nizwa fort was very interesting, Said told us a lot of stories. Then we went to the village of Misfah, where we could discover the Falaj, it was beautiful! We had a great day thanks to Said!
