Our tour guide was called Ben and operated from Surya Nusa Pineda tour company. He took me and my family (with 5 year old) on a 3 hour trip around the island. He was really kind and had a positive attitude to show us Broken beach and Klingking beach. At Klingking beach we fed monkeys peanuts which was very entertaining for our young child. A round trip walk to the beach would have taken an hour and in my opinion, too much for my child. Overall, a very positive experience with a cheerful, knowledgeable tour guide.

Beware. We were told we were booking a private tour and really only had a private car for part of the day, with a boat of 30+ people for snorkeling with a very chaotic guide and snorkeling process, and a “private” but very cookie cutter tour where we had no control over the stops even when we explained what we wanted to do to our guide. If possible, I’d recommend arranging the snorkel separately in a small group and researching/arranging with a driver to see what you want in Nusa Penisa. The island is truly stunning but all the crowds and queues to take photos in certain places takes away from the experience. Doing something more customized will give a more authentic experience and seems easy enough to arrange once you arrive in Nusa Penida via the public boat (which nearly any hotel or villa can arrange for you)

The driver Tomang was amazing and i would suggest it to any one he gave really good information walked around explainging things to us my family had a great time
