I have been on city tours all over the world. Currently still on this tour. Being held hostage for a 15 minute “rest stop” and growing. Started over 40 minutes later. Sped through the first half with a host constantly saying inappropriate and derogatory statements about sites along the way and UFT. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

Terrible experience. Have taken many Hop On Hop Off tour around the world. This was the worst. First, the microphone on the first bus wasn’t working. The young guide did is best and he did a good job. We hopped off at the distillery stop (13) and had lunch. We went to get back on and just missed the bus. They were supposed to be every twenty minutes. So we decided to walk back to stop 12 (St. Lawrence Market). We started any another bus came along within a couple minutes but we were too far away to make it back to the stop. So we walked back to the St. Lawrence Market. There was a couple at the bus stop. Thy said they had been waiting about ten minutes. We asked them to text us if they saw the bus and we went into the market. Twenty minutes later we exited and find the same couple still at the stop. They said no bus has come. So we figured it must be coming along soon. There were about twenty of us waiting for the bus. Th first couple has been waiting forty-five minutes. We got on the bus the, it was nearly full and had to sit down stairs. Different bus, different guide, but again the microphone wasn’t working, and the guide was doing his best up-stairs to narrate the stops. There was no speaker downstairs so we couldn’t hear anything. At the next stop there were again about 20 people waiting. One said he had been waiting for over 45 minutes. There weren’t enough seats on the bus. The bus driver said it was traffic. But the truth was that two buses were traveling just a few minutes apart leaving a huge gap. They wouldn’t let people on and kept saying the next bus would be along in a few minutes. By this point no one believed anything the driver, guide or ticket seller was saying - you can’t blame them. They should have offered us all a refund but didn’t. Out of fifteen Hop On Hop Off buses we have been on this is the first one where equipment did work, the buses were in poor condition, and the staff was just rude (save the one guide). SO, unless the bus looks new, stay off this particular Hop On Hop Off. Tour.

This was nice overview of Toronto. Seeing the highlights helped us to figure out where we wanted to go back and visit more thoroughly.
