We love the ROM. We were very disappointed in all of the closures. My son was so upset the dinosaurs exhibit was not accessible. We would not have paid for tickets if we were aware of all of the closures. Waste of time, money and travel.

As someone love near NYC with Chinese background, I think this is by far the best museum visit we have ever visited in North America!
I traveled with my 64 year old mother, my wife and my 2 year old kid, stayed about 2 hours there on our last day in Toronto and all had fun. My kid was fascinated with the buddhas, my mom didn't get bored because she did see quite some valuable Chinese antiques which she already had some background knowledge about, and my wife had fun seeing the big Ming dynasty style Zu Dashou tomb, I also saw a lot. I think everyone had fun, and these exhibits arw all on first floor, better than our visit in NY metroplotian museum of arts.

Took our 13 and 15 year old daughters. Neither was super excited when we went but we split up and found things that were really cool. Dinosaurs, Egypt, Greece, bats...totally cool. Great way to spend the afternoon.
