The ROM is a huge museum, with a ton to explore within the realms of natural history and world culture. The ancient civilization galleries were extensive, with lots of historical artifacts from Egypt, Greece, and Rome. I particularly enjoyed the natural history exhibits, which were very well presented and featured places in Canada that have been key in the understanding of the development of life, like the Burgess Shale in British Columbia. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to visit every section of the museum; to do so would easily take a whole day or two. Although it was pretty busy the day I visited, it never felt overly crowded.

Love the exhibits but …. be aware. It was so confusing to get from one exhibit to another as there are no signs as you walk along to direct you. We did use the map but honestly still so confusing. More bench seating needed throughout the museum as well. With back pain I’m always searching for the next place to sit for a moment.

We were also right here with our Cityticket. The museum looks a bit unremarkable from the outside, so we almost walked by, but inside it's really spectacular, because it has so many farsettes that there's really something for everyone. The dinosaurs, the wildlife, history of Rome, antiquity, Egypt, so you see a lot, and it was really very interesting to see the emergence of evolution. Here children should do their geography, or biology lessons, so you can really learn something.
