We were so pleased with the whole experience: The boat, the food, the service. The length of the tour, the live pianist, the gift shop, etc. it was all just right.

I wanted to do something different for my girlfriend for Valentines Day outside of the traditional flowers and candy. After a quick internet search I found the Portland Spirit Brunch Cruise on the Willamette. Having grown up in the Portland area I had always heard about the river cruises on the Spirit but sadly had never experienced one. Needless to say we were pleasantly surprised. Everything from the friendly hospitality to the live piano music to the elegance of the boat to the amazing food was outstanding. About halfway through the cruise we decided to go topside and discovered another surprise with a front row seat in the fresh air of the beautiful homes along the banks of the river. This was all accented by the very informative recorded narration that could be heard over the speaker discussing things that I never knew about the area of the country I was born and raised in. I think my girlfriend said it best when she told me this was the perfect Valentines Day gift! Thank you Portland Spirit and we will definitely be back!

FIRST IF ALL THE LET ME START WITH THE LARKI G IS TERRIBLE! Goi g around and around trying to find parking for more then 15 minutes made us late to our excursion. I called ahead and told them parking was terrible and we were running two min late. The person on the phone said that was no problem he would have the caption wait. When we arrived to the dock the ship was sailing away! I called the guy back and he said he was going to have to have the manager call me back! I never got a call back till I called. I was I. Twin for a funeral not from Oregon! They guy in the phone said he was not able to give me a refund but he’s “willing to make an exception” to re book my excursion. I’m back in California. He said he can give me a refund! DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM! And if you do arrive two hours prior to FIND parking and be ready to walk a mile.
