ROR Comedy Club is Osaka's only dedicated English-language stand up comedy club and has been tickling locals and visitors since 2011. The club has won TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence 3 years running and ROR members have also won a host of international comedy awards, including the Seoul International Comedy Competition and a host of prestigious awards in London. Much of the material focuses on life in Japan and is a hilarious introduction to the country for many tourists. It's also a great way to mingle with locals and other travelers.

    Guests should meet directly at the club. The closest stations are Namba, Shinsaibashi and Yotsubashi (less than 5 minutes walk from each). Please arrive at the club BEFORE 8pm. If the club is still being set up then you can relax in the upstairs bar (L&L) which is connected. Any drinks you buy upstairs can be consumed downstairs (and vice-versa). Drinks are very reasonably priced (¥500 for most drinks) and there is a full range of beers, cocktails and soft drinks available, as well as great food and shisha. The show starts promptly at 8pm. There will be an MC and between 3-5 acts with an interval in the middle. After the show you can chat with the performers and other audience members in the bar.

  • Minimum age is 16 years (children below 16 can enter at parents' discretion)
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
  • For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

A MUST do on your trip to Osaka. It was hilarious and we had the best time! It was such a warm and cozy atmosphere. Sat in the first row and I definitely recommend doing so. My mom and I went together!

Perfetto per qualsiasi tipo di gruppo, coppia o singolo! Molto molto simpatici i comici, l'ambiente è piccolo e intimo per una perfetta stand up comedy diretta con il pubblico! Consigliatissimo!

My husband and I came to see this show and absolutely enjoyed it! We got there a bit early and popped into the little hooka bar/restaurant that is above the "club". Once they were ready to open the doors we popped down some stairs and were in a small room. This is where the show is. It can be quite cozy in there, but you quickly forget as the comedians get you laughing. We loved the audience interaction and the stories. Definitely recommend this as for any English speaker!
