Our experienced guides will take you to a variety of different locations where you will be able to taste a variety of Norwegian treats - from the best waffles in the world, heartwarming cocoa and Norwegian hot dog to a tasting plate with selection of the best Norwegian cheese and cured meat!     Our experience starts in Vulkan, which is also called Oslo's sustainable laboratory and it is a home for the first food hall in Oslo, the Mathallen. This will also be our final station so don't worry, you will have plenty of time to explore the area and maybe taste some more of the local treats in Mathallen after the tour!

    It's time to move towards an absolutely unique hidden gem - the oldest sausage stand in Oslo that sells sausages for more than 40 years! You will learn a bit more about the history of the kiosk as well as Norwegian sausage culture. And of course, you will taste a proper Norwegian hot dog too!

    Our next stop will be in Grünerløkka, a district best known for the best coffee shops, food culture and small local shops that cannot be found anywhere else in Oslo. Ivana was awesome, although it was raining, it was super fun and refreshing. Learned a lot and the tasting’s were great. Would definitely recommend. We had a wonderful time. Thank you

This was not particularly interesting or inspiring. The information passed on was minimal and did not engage with the group. The food and drink was good and spread out well over the time we had, although was often rushed in some places where some were served later than others. I did not leave feeling I had a had a handle on Norwegian cuisine and culture although it was a nice walk in parts and the food was quite tasty. The tour was advertised as lasting 3 hours but was finished in less than 2, giving the impression that the tour guide had somewhere else to be at 5pm!
