Paradox Museum Oslo

We came and the booking was full. Already then, we thought this was a good experience! I booked tickets for two hours later, and payed a lot of money for it. We were two adults and a child who´s 5 years old, and I payed 600+ NOK. The wardrobe is tiny, with very little space for clothes. So there were jackets on the floor even. The exhibision is not mind blowing. A lot of mirrors, some well known illusions and not so interactive as I got the feeling from the website. It was a bit dirty, worn and very hot. Had some things that were interesting, but overall, not worth the money!

Dirty and very worn installations. Some installations were not even working. This place needs maintenance! Staff is none existant, and in the rare moment they happened to be there, were very unhelpful and more interested on chatting with each other or hidding behind their phones. Easter weekend means you will receive a good flow of people, prepare in advance for this! The experience from the very beginning was chaotic, the cloakroom is very very small and worn. It lacks a proper locker room where you can safely leave your jackets, bags. No control whatsoever of who enters. The staff should try to direct people on how to use the installation, yes there was a 1 minute video giving instructions by the very entrance, and a wall full of them too. Yes, we understand is all about the use of technology by scanning a QRcode for instructions, and having teenages means we had masters of this.... But some of your attendees are not technology wizards and/ or have very small children and don't have time to read carefully the instructions. Here the staff could jump in and be more proactive and helpful. Since there were big crowds, courtesy is expected when taking turns on each installation, after all that's why booking a time slot was supposed to be about, but staff didn't respect the time slots and people sometimes need a staff member to remind them to wait for their turn and encourage them to follow instructions.

Altfor trangt i forhold til antall mennesker inne. Absolutt ingen struktur, folk gikk på kryss og tvers overalt! Noe som gjorde det umulig å ta bilder; som er mye eller hele poenget med flere av illusjonene. Vi så mange som ikke skjønte hva de skulle gjøre på de ulike postene, men det var ingen som var tilgjengelig for å spørre om hjelp. Vil absolutt anbefale alle om å finne noe annet å bruke pengene sine på, dette var virkelig ikke verdt det!
