Traveling by car to the fjords of Western Norway is one of the best ways to enjoy the Norwegian nature and appreciate the beauty of the fjords and waterfalls in a short period of time. The trip is designed for the whole day, leaving from Oslo early in the morning and returning late at night. During the day you will take part of Bergen Railway by train from Geilo to Myrdal, then board the world famous Flam Railway and cruise along the two branches of the longest and deepest fjords in Norway – Sognefjord. One of them, Nærøyfjord, was included in UNESCO’s World Heritage List in 2005. You will also be able to pass one of the most attractive high-altitude railways in the world – Flåm – or enjoy the impressive views at Stalheim hotel viewpoint. Amazing scenery and very peaceful on the electric boat! The train ride is full of fantastic views. The train actually stops and let’s you get out to take photos of a beautiful waterfall.

Très très cher pour des prestations faussement privées : Journée du 23 août 2022. Grand soleil. Notre chauffeur / guide Joonas de nationalité Finlandaise est venu nous récupérer à notre logement de location à 7h. Monospace Mercedes immatriculé en Estonie, un peu vieux mais propre et confortable. 4 heures de route pour rejoindre le départ de la voie ferrée de Flåm: route aller sans grand intérêt, nous en profitons pour questionner notre guide sur diverses choses concernant la Norvège. Joonas est très serviable et d’une grande gentillesse. Arrivée à Flåm et début de grandes déceptions : Notre guide nous remet nos billets et nous laisse embarquer seuls dans un train bondé de monde avec sièges non numérotés. Il y avait tellement de monde que nous n’avons pu être du bon côté des fenêtres permettant de voir les plus beaux paysages (côté droit à l’aller et gauche au retour). Rien de privatif donc. Allez et retour dans ce train ancien allant vers les montagnes avec une halte à la chute d’eau de Kjosfossen: environ 1h30. Retour à Flåm ou notre guide nous attendais à l’arrivée du train pour embarquer sur un bateau pour une croisière sur le fiord de Aurlandsfjord. Je m’attendais à nouveau à une visite privative sur une petite embarcation ou privée ou avec peux de monde mais énorme déception quand nous nous sommes retrouvé à faire une queue immense devant un bateau pour 300 personnes! J’ai refusé d’embarquer nous privants de la croisière et me suis plein auprès de Joonas qui n’y est pour rien … Retour Oslo par une autre route très belle cette fois et nombreux arrêts à de très beaux sites. Retour Oslo 22h. En conclusion: Mis à part un véhicule avec chauffeur ni le train ni le bateau sont privatifs ! 900€ par personnes pour une fausse prestation (EasyTravel responsble) est inacceptable. Une journée très décevante en trop d’aspects : surtout choisissez une autre formule.
