We thought this boat trip was very poor. The commentary was not interesting and totally boring. What a comparison to the excellent and fun commentary on the open top tour buses. Just a waste of money and an embarrassment for us being with our non Yorkshire friends.

Expensive 40/45 min boat trip. Should be at least an hour plus really up to the Archbishop’s Palace possibly. Boring commentary lacking historical information on an over loud PA lacking anything interesting really. Seats not that comfortable and close together. Not a great experience would not go again as not good value tourist based money maker it appears.

Very friendly chap helping people on and off the boat. Once the cruise started - the commentary was very chilled (and quiet), but hardly said anything. A couple of bits about bridges - and then a note saying he would go quiet so we could spend money in the bar. We went past York Castle - but he didn't mention it - in fact, I don't remember him saying anything of interest other than describing the bridges...
