Pros: Some interesting history provided. Bar and toilets available. Cons: Did not see a whole lot from the boat and the commentary was a bit ...extra. Seating on top were metal chairs and uncomfortable.

It was nice to have a leisurely ride along the river. I'd say it's well worth the £15 for the 45 min trip. Although not the most amazing views in the world, it was a lovely change of pace from walking around York. Our captain Andy was great!

To be honest York does not look its best from the river. However the river cruise is pleasant as were all the crew members. A pleasant hour for sure. Not very busy in September was a huge bonus, should imagine it could get heaving in summer.
