ITINERARY: The tour starts at 07:00 am so passengers begin to be picked up at 06:40 am. The visit to the Pacaya Volcano National Park is very simple, after a walk of an hour and a half you will reach the area of the petrified lava and you will be able to have a stunning view of the active crater, the ascent route is a natural spectacle. At the end of the descent we will begin the return to Guatemala City, passengers will be dropped off at the place where they were picked up. At 2:00 pm is the approximate time you will arrive in Guatemala City. The tour includes: Local guide of the Pacaya Volcano specialized in the area, tourist transportation, entrance ticket and pure water.

I was a bit disappointed at first because I had verified a 7 A.M. pick up time the night before. But due to a communication issue, I waited for 35 minutes, went back to my hotel room, then thankfully was called from the front desk at 7:50 for my ride. Overall the experience was excellent, although maybe a little more expensive than necessary. Our driver, Michael, was very nice, came in a very nice vehicle, and drove well. Our guide, Walter, was incredible! I would highly recommend him. I asked for a tour in Spanish because my friend traveling with me is from Nicaragua and speaks mainly Spanish. I am from the U.S. and my Spanish is fair, but not great. I was very pleased to find that Walter spoke English quite well and would translate anything for me that I did not understand in Spanish. The views of the volcano were outstanding and my friend and I both enjoyed the experience very much.

Mega!!!!Cesar war über eine Woche unser Begleiter und hat sich toll um uns gekümmert!Er hat uns die Hauptstadt gezeigt,Antigua,ist mit uns auf Vulkane geklettert und und und….er hat sich immer um unser Wohlergehen gesorgt,uns zum COVID Test begleitet,mitten in der Nacht zum Flughafen gefahren.Es war eine unvergessliche Zeit,DANKE FÜR ALLES!!!!

Excelente servicio desde que abordamos el bus la convivencia fue muy amena y el apoyo durante toda la actividad lo mejor. Es para mi desde hace mucho la mejor agencia de turismo, te hacen sentir en familia y los precios muy accesibles. Además los guías super instruidos y preparados para cualquier contingencia. Subir el volcán Pacaya de noche fue algo único y especial. Gracias a Jaguar Travel por su excelente servicio.
