In this gorge, the X formed by the millions of years of flooding and wind-engraving Navajo sandstone will stand out clear as day. When the sun shines on two deep and quiet valleys, the light and shadow will create a charming tableaux. All times on this tour page and confirmations are in ARIZONA TIME (Summer time: Same time as Pacific Time; Winter time Same time as Mountain Time. - No Daylight Saving Time - Not Utah Time - Not Navajo Nation Time). Because the Utah State Line is less than 7 miles away, cell phone towers from Utah (and the surrounding Navajo Nation) often will be the wrong time! Do yourself a favor and do like the locals do: Manually set your cell phone to PHOENIX, AZ time.

  • Bags are NOT allowed on tour; medical bags are allowed with proof of need.
  • Masks are required on the Navajo Nation.
This experience is non-refundable and cannot be changed for any reason. If you cancel or ask for an amendment, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Van was the best guide! He gave lots of information and helped me find the best spots to photograph. Really made it an awesome experience. Had great stories and is a very knowledgeable guide. I highly recommend the 3 hour photography tour and Van.

Amazing tour with so much knowledge explained so much. Our guide did an example of how the sandstone was created years ago. Pointed out signs and pictures in the stone. They even helped my Sister in law back up with a side by side ride back up!

Our group of four have all been to upper antelope Canyon before. We wanted to experience something different. Canon X proved to be that. Our guide Van, was extremely knowledgeable. He explained all the wonderful sites and we learned about the creation of this slot canyon.
