Truly enjoy myself. Learned a lot about the community and the tribe and how hard they work to keep their traditions alive.

The tour overall was great!
Pros: Embrera people were great and learned much about their history (especially the little ones running around), fresh food was tasty, river ride was relaxing, waterfall was amazing, everyone helped each other along the way
Cons: the amount of hiking to get to the waterfall is not for the average person as if was rough terrain with strenuous climbs - that NNEDS to be in the description (at least 20 mins each way); and the goods for sale in the village seemed to be the same ones in all the trappy tourist shops so I’m curious about the authenticity/hand made.
Ali, our tour guide was awesome! Ask for him.

The visit to the Embera Village was very colorful and interesting. We also loved going to the waterfall, and swimming in the pool was fun.
However, I would not recommend this guide, Ernesto. He gave us no information about the village. I would have liked to know about the social structure and the customs. The lunch he provided was only fruit. The trip description said we would be able to put on dry clothes before returning to Panama City. We were not given that opportunity. Ernesto was not the quality of guide we've had on other Viator tours.
