Fikardos Winery is a well-known, family-owned winery established in 1990 producing quality wines that reveal Cyprus' true character. Located in Mesogi, Paphos, it is a 10-minute drive from the city center, or a 30-minute bus ride. At Fikardos Winery, a member of the family will guide you through our facilities, where you will learn about our history, our vineyards, and our winemaking process. During the tour, you will be provided with insights and knowledge about the different stages of winemaking, from grape harvesting and fermentation to bottling and aging. Tastings will take place in the cellar door or in the barrel room. We will guide you through the tasting, describing the unique characteristics of each wine. Most of our wines are available for tasting, including some of our exclusive premium and limited edition wines. A complimentary platter of various cheeses, Cypriot olives, salty crackers, dried fruits and nuts is included.

Great visit and tasting at Fikardos - tried 4 wines and all were very well made (we did not take the tour). Xinisteri, Cab Sauvignon, Semillon/Xinisteri blend (90/10) demi sec and a rose which was an ‘experiment’ )’The one with n the barrel’) which was also delicious - all for 5 Euro - with some bread, olives and olive oil included. Our guide was great and we were very impressed by this small family owned vineyard. Bought a couple of bottles to take home. Recommended.

We had booked the winery tour online - the confirmation email was almost immediate. I was worried about being late as our taxi hit some bad traffic but when we got there Leonardo was waiting for us and we were the only people there! He gave us a tour of the winery, he was very informative and engaging. Then to the wine tasting! He pulled out eight wines for us to try and laid out some olives (which sadly they don’t sell but were among the best olives I’ve had), some bread and olive oil. The wines were lovely, although we definitely preferred some over others. Once again he was very knowledgeable and entertaining. I would definitely recommend this as a way to spend 60-90 minutes.
