Booking fee
The booking fee includes the costs of booking your tickets such as charges for payment processing. It also covers the provision of our customer care center for processing your order, and all charges imposed by our suppliers.

During the cooking class you will learn how to make dishes from the Javanese cuisine. There is also an option for vegetarians. The chef will show you step by step how to make each dish and when you are done you will be able to enjoy the food you made. At the end the recipe will be provided so that you can try it at home for your family and friends.

You will be picked up by the host at your location. Please do not forget to mention from what location you need to be picked up

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

For us, this was less a cooking workshop than an evening in pleasant company of a local couple enjoying a good meal. I’m not sure how much I learned about cooking Javanese food (we are both quite experienced in many cuisines) but I would not have missed the experience which was delightful and gave us insight into the daily life of a local family.
