    This Giverny self-guided tour will lead you to a charming village in the south of Normandy, where Claude Monet painted most of his masterpieces as the Water Lilies. You to visualize why Claude Monet fell in love with this beautiful place and its country side that became a source of inspiration for his creation. The founder of Impressionism lived there from 1883 until his death in 1926 and is buried in the local cemetery. You will see the famous water lily ponds, the Japanese bridge, the flower gardens and of course the house itself with its original furniture. The visit of the house and gardens is on your own.

Philippe was wonderful. He was friendly and very easy to get along with, He was also very acknowledgeable. The tour really worth the money if you really want to see the city and learn at the same time. So why wait......

This booking is very deceptive. It says Private Tour but there is no tour. It is just private transportation from Paris to Giverny. It should just be titled private car transport as there is no tour as the guided tour is excluded. Very misleading

The driver was very professional. Make sure you get the license plate to help find the right vehicle in the pick up area after you are finished. There are a LOT of similar vehicles there. Take a photo to help you. The gardens are amazing with tons of blooming flowers. There are lots of tour groups with radio headsets, and the pathways are narrow, so it can be slow moving from place to place. There can be a very long line waiting to get inside the house. Do that early in your visit.
