    Paris’ other museum, the Musée d’Orsay, is the perfect complement to the Louvre. With your private guide, begin your tour through this converted Beaux-Arts train station with skip-the-line admission. Inside, explore the artistic movements that led up to Impressionism and its colorful works. See Manet’s scandalous Luncheon on the Grass and Renoir’s Dance at Le Moulin de la Galette. Discuss with your guide the artists who preceded the Impressionists, like Millet and 'the Gleaners,' as well as those who followed, such as Post-Impressionist artist Van Gogh, whose Bedroom in Arles is on display. And, of course, check out works by the father of Impressionism himself, Claude Monet, including his famous poppies. No large bags or suitcases are allowed inside the museum, only handbags or small thin bag packs are allowed through security. Due to increased security measures at many attractions some lines may form on tours with 'Skip the Line' or 'No Wait' access. Some specific rooms inside the museum are subjected to a very quiet or restricted right to speak inside, in this cases your guide will provide the information about this places before entering the specific rooms where this rule applies. Some collections may vary along the year.

All I can say is WOW!!! My husband and I traveled to Paris earlier this year. He was working throughout the days, so I had the privilege of traveling solo. Museum Orsay was recommended to me by so many of my friends who had traveled through all of the Paris museums prior. I was running a bit late coming from another tour and my tour guide Hugo was wonderfully communicative and patient waiting for me. I was delighted to discover that I was the only person that had signed up for the tour that afternoon. Needless to say I had a one of a kind experience, but Hugo made that all the more special. With insight that took me through history in a discussion format, we ended up skipping parts that most people attempt to wait and see for the truly wonderful art pieces this museum has to offer. I cannot thank Hugo enough for the extra time, the intelligent conversations, the consideration of my opinions, and my personal favorite experience after a week in Paris. I do not know if you're allowed to request a tour guide prior to or during the booking process for this tour, but truly want to suggest Hugo if possible! Thank you for this tour and thank you Hugo!!!

Paloma P by far the best tour guide I have used, not just in Paris, which this trip I have used 4, but anywhere in the word I have traveled. She was professional, informative, organized, personable and engaging. She didn’t just do a canned talk, she spoke with us, not at us. I couldn’t have spent the day a better way.
