    Our favorite part of the tour was our guide Frederic. He was personable, knowledgeable, and fun. I could point to anything in Versailles, and he knew what it was, and often, make a historical reference. This tour also included Chartres Cathedral. Frederic gave us extensive information, but it was never too much. He made it a most enjoyable day.

    We returned to Paris,this time with my 24 y/o niece and my daughter and of course had to call Best of France Tours and request our favorite guide Frederic! We had a half day tour of Versailles. We were picked up at our hotel and Frederic provided great information and history of Paris all along the way. It's hard NOT to love Versailles and all its history but Frederic made it even more enjoyable. He and the folks at Best of France tried their best to get us a tour of Champagne but our schedules did not coincide. Luckily, Frederic gave us extremely helpful information about where to go, how to get there and even called a local restaurant there to get us a reservation! He saved the day! Needless to say we cant wait to return next year and this time plan a bit earlier to get the trips we want with this wonderful company and guide

    This recent visit to Versailles was my second 'Best of France Tour' experience - both were excellent. The online booking process was very easy - do plan in advance. For this excursion, Frederic was our tour guide. Frederic was very knowledgeable on all thing Paris and Versailles - he happily answered all of our questions and shared fun facts on the drive from Paris. The hotel pick up went as planned. We had an easy and quick entry into Versailles. Frederic entertained us [including a 15 year old] by sharing interesting stories about Versailles and its gardens throughout the tour. We went at a leisurely pace - we never felt rushed. The tour included a mic for Frederic and headsets for us which enhanced the experience. We arrived back in Paris on time. Frederic recommended the perfect lunch spot close to our next destination. At the end of our five day visit to Paris we all voted Versailles [and Frederic] as the #1 vacation experience of the trip.
