  • This tour can be customized and run on a private basis just for you and your group.
  • We highly recommend booking at least a few months before the departure date so that we have enough time to ensure the flights are available. If you already have flight tickets to and from Bhutan, we can take bookings up to a week before the departure date. To process visa, it only takes 4-5 business days.
  • There are only two airlines that connect Bhutan with the outside world and so securing air tickets can be difficult especially during the months of high season. Currently, Bhutan is connected with these cities - Bagdogra, Bangkok, Delhi, Dhaka, Guwahati, Kathmandu, Kolkata, Singapore. We recommend you book your international flights a few months in advance especially if you plan to visit during the high season months of March to May and September to November. If you need help in arranging flights to/from Bhutan, please let us know much in advance.
  • After you book the tour, kindly send us clear passports copies of all the participants. A biodata page including the machine-readable zone must be seen clearly. Passports should have a minimum of 6 MONTHS validity from the day you depart from Bhutan. You may also want to check the passport requirements by your next destination country after Bhutan. A copy of your e-Visa will be emailed to you once it is approved. It only takes 4-5 business days to get visa approval and it is 100 percent guaranteed as long as we receive clear passport copies of all the participants. The actual visa will be stamped on your passport upon arrival. Send the passport copies to the Local Supplier E-mail address.
  • Youth between the ages of 13-18 MUST send us a copy of their valid Student Photo ID Card/Document to keep the discounted price. Without a copy of valid Student Photo ID Card/document, the full adult price will apply.
  • Participants below the age of 18 years old MUST be accompanied by at least one full-paying adult.

    This was an excellent tour in everyway. Truly the trip of a lifetime. Most notably, in my case, I contacted Bhutan Acorn on a wednesday and they had a full tour booked and arranged for me for arrival on Saturday. My plans were completely last minute, as I was in Bangladesh prior. After booking, I didn't have to plan a single thing. I was met at the airport, and all accommodations and meals were taken care of. The private mini-suv was new, clean, and reliable. Accommodations were top notch and all the buffet meals were very tasty! Mr Tashi is an excellent and knowledgeable guide, who passionately shared the rich history of the sites we visited. He even made it a point to snap several photos from our trip. He had answers to all my questions. and, he's just an all around cool guy to spend the day with!

    I went on this tour in Bhutan and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The guide was amazing in every way. Their communication was clear and they provided a detailed plan for each day of the tour, which helped make the most of my time there. They were also very flexible and accommodating to my interests, which made the tour feel very personalised. Additionally, the guide was extremely knowledgeable when it came to the history and culture of each location we visited. They provided a lot of insight and context that helped me understand and appreciate the sights we were seeing. The hotels were also of high quality, and provided a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The driver was also excellent and made sure that we arrived safely at each destination. The meals during the tour were well-timed and delicious. We even had the opportunity to try some home-cooked meal experiences which were awesome. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in visiting Bhutan. It was an unforgettable experience, and I'm so grateful to have had the opportunity to explore this beautiful country.

    I have no words to describe this amazing trip. Kezang & Bumpa took such great care of us as they shared their beautiful culture & country. The sights, the people…we were floored by the entire experience. The team at Bhutan Acorn Tours made this the easiest most enjoyable trip in years. Love it so much, I’m planning on bringing more friends with my on my next visit. Eternally grateful!!!!
