Early in the morning we started with this unique adventure, after Check-in in our office, we headed to Laredo Bay located 25 km north of the city, by transfer to board speedboats and navigate the Legendary Strait of Magellan, route migratory of Sei Whales, Oyster Dolphins and Southern Dolphins, after 45 minutes arrive at Magdalena Island, where we will disembark 1 hour with our guide to know the natural habitat of the Magellanic Penguins. We continue our journey to Isla Marta to see Sea Lions, Imperial Cormorants and hundreds of Southern Gulls. Then return to the pier and Punta Arenas.

Amazing day! We had one day to fill before doing the W and chose to go see the penguins. Even at the end of the season we saw so many penguins!! The only tip I have is bring some food since none is provided (clearly stated).

바람이 많이 불어 당일 아침에 투어가 취소되었습니다. 안전과 관련된 문제이기 때문에 투어가 취소된 것은 이해할 수 있습니다. 다만, 날씨로 인한 취소 가능 여부를 사전에 공지하면 좋겠습니다. 또한, 취소가 되었을 때 환불은 어떻게 진행되는지에 대해서도 안내가 필요합니다. 여행사에서는 취소가 되었음을 공지하고, 대체 투어를 안내했을 뿐, 환불에 대해서는 안내하지 않았습니다. 대체 투어로 다녀온 파타고니아 야생투어Wild Life Tour는 내용이 유익하지 않았습니다. 버스로 한참 이동한 후, 멀리서 날고 있는 콘도르를 보는 정도였습니다. 과연 동일한 비용에 적합한 투어 내용이었는지 모르겠습니다.

I loved this experience! The penguins were the highlight of the day and it was so incredible to see them on the island! The sea lions and overall boat ride were also fun. As other reviews noted, the checkin process is chaotic, but knowing this from the reviews, I anticipated it and got through it. The checkin was the only downside and the penguins made up for it. I would do it again and already verbally recommended it to others!
