Rani ki vav was built in the complex Maru-Gurjara architectural style with an inverted temple and seven levels of stairs and holds more than 500 principal sculptures. This place is an hour drive from ahmedabad. The stepwell has many temples with beautiful and intricate carvings

Patan is more than an hours drive from Ahamedabad but this stepwell and the Jain temples and carved wooden temples are worth the travelSo intricately carved walls will leave you in awe thinking how talented people were back then so many centuries ago. Every surface is adorned with finely chiseled sculptures. So much history. Worth the travel.
