Tiger has a great passion for history, both local and global. He did a fantastic job of contextualizing the story of Georgetown into the larger global political and religious landscape of the time, illustrating that story with several stops around town. You will see religious buildings from Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism; traditional neighborhoods from the early British, Chinese, Indian, and Malay citizens; and even learn about the six-meals-a-day (!) habits of modern Penangites through a stop at a local food cart.
If you want to really experience the history of Georgetown, then definitely don’t miss this tour!
