Spätburgunder or Gewurztraminer doesn't roll easily off the tongue, but both these German wines do flow very well down your throat. Join me on a grape escape to try the best German wines in the Mosel, Pfalz, Rhein valley.
When it comes to the world of wine Germany has been in the wine game since the Romans and offers some of the world's most elegant and aromatic wine varieties, most notably for the noble Riesling. But getting your hands on a bottle outside of Germany can be hard to find. The regions best-kept wine secrets are rarely exported as locals love every last drop. This is why Weinköpfe exists. We believe wine was made for sharing. My German wine tours aim to share with you the best quality wines, most beautiful views, historical sights and culinary delights the regions of Germany have to offer.

Carl was absolutely exceptional as our tour guide, wine expert, chauffeur and entertainer. His knowledge and network of the Rhine Valley wineries is unparalleled. He knows the wines and the region and the region knows him. Would strongly recommend engaging him on a most hospitable and memorable tour of Germany’s exceptional wine regions.

Carl picked us up at our hotel and was extraordinarily friendly and knowledgeable about the wine regions, history, landscapes, and products in Germany. We toured some vineyards and tasted samples at wineries. We were joined by another lovely couple. It was a spectacular day of laughter, wine, and storytelling. Lunch was delightful outside on a patio surrounded by gardens. We learned a lot and enjoyed the day thoroughly. I would highly recommend Carl for any excursion.

One of the best wine tours we've been on. Carl is a blast to hang out with and has a lot of wine knowlege. We visited some beautiful vineyards, and drank our way through every hillside we could find. I had no idea German wines were so diverse and the Reisling area had such fantastic red and white wines. We would highly recommend this tour.
