We bought a wine blending experience for our wine savvy husbands ???? It was a great experience and good fun. Learnt lots and truly respect a wine makers job of pleasing the masses! Looking forward to seeing how our individual blends turn out (cracking them when we next all catch up). Highly recommend the experience from start to finish. Paul & Shannon were awesome to deal with and truly looked after us!

We enjoyed learning about the wines and have come to appreciate the time and efforts of the wine makers and vineyard owners in producing good quality and special wines & ciders. Thank you for sharing your insights and knowledge throughout the tour around the wineries and cidery. The lunch we had at Plume Estate was so delicious and the views were breathtaking too! We will definitely join you on another tour by Up Close and Local Tours when we visit Perth again. All the best and thank you!

Continuing our annual tradition, we had another awesome day at the Bickley Harvest Festival of 2024. Paul from Up Close and Local Tours drove us with his customary excellence for sumptuous wine tastings at Plume, Fairbrossen, Myattsfield, a great lunch at Mason Mill, and more yummy tastings from Brookside at the Chalet Rigi. We also sampled some tasty French bread and Pate at Plume. Then we finished our day with guitar, singing and drinking back home. It’s so awesome to enjoy fun times with such good friends and as always to feel so grateful for the amazing area we live in here in the Perth Hills. Special thanks to all who made the event happen and for the hard work of all these producers who do such a fantastic job.
