I did this trek with Peru Andes tour company. I was picked up from my accommodation and, with a group of approximately 13 of us, we were taken to the start with a number of stops along the way. The trek included a number of meals which were simple and not very big but just about sufficient. The guide was good and informative. The accommodation was basic but fine for 1 night.
Would recommend this.

They do not even deserve that one star.
I did the two days tour to Colca Canyon booked through TREK THE COLCA. The operator is a complete mess and just to note a few:
1) the tour operator contact on WhatsApp disappeared (yes the number was discontinued) after I have paid. I was unable to contact any tour officer by email or WhatsApp and I was about to book another tour.. they only responded like the night before the tour.
2) tour operator gave me wrong pick up time. I asked multiple times the pick up time and was told hotel pick up is 4AM. At 340AM as I was getting ready in hotel, the tour guide called my hotel room and said why wasn’t I ready. I was shocked and said I was told 4AM by their other staff. She threatened if I didn’t show up in 3 mins they would leave without me. It was rude and was extremely unpleasant way to start tour, for something that is their fault.
3) tour description is misleading. They like to make the tour sound easier than it really is. I and many other people on the tour were misled that there would only be three hours of hiking required, and then we would spend a night. But we ended up trekking the entire day and the trek was not easy. Everyone was exhausted and was extremely unprepared because we were misled.
4) food and accommodation is terrible. I didn’t expect much but frankly with the price we paid (USD95) and having been to other tours, the food they provided is really sub par. After waking up in early AM and hiked for whole morning our only lunch was that soup with nothing in it. Accommodation is terrible (but I can appreciate as it’s in a simple lodge in between mountain range). Dinner was spaghetti with some tomato sauce (more like ketchup spilled over on some uncooked pasta). Again I don’t expect much but with full day of trekking they really should be more considerate in providing us with food to regain our energy (we will have to hike again on Day 2).
4) tour guide was quite bad. But anyways. Just don’t join this tour is all.
View is amazing and I would recommend doing trekking in colca canyon. But I regret booking through Trek the Colca.

Nice tour but you will get it for half the price if you ask for it in Arequipa itself. Don't book here.

Once this process is completed you will receive your voucher or ticket by email. If our local partner is not able to confirm your booking we will offer you the best possible alternative.
