  • Important: You may bring a backpack that can hold between 2-30 kilograms (55-132 lbs) with clothes that are only necessary for the 4 days of the trip. The rest of your luggage will be left in a storeroom at your hotel/hostel in Cusco or in the Inkayni Peru office. It is extremely important to only bring what is necessary for the 4 days that you will be trekking because on the second or third day, you will have to carry your backpack.
  • Note: Tickets to Huayna Picchu Mountain sell out very quickly. If you wish to do the hike, please contact the tour operator as soon as possible to check if they can pre-book your tickets

    We had the best time with Jonathan as a tour guide. We hiked through the jungle, had amazing food, stunning views, did some zip lining, downhill mountain biking, rafting and much more. It was great getting to know Jonathan and to spend time with him. He really did an amazing job teaching us about Peru.

    Wir haben die Attraktion gebucht und es war wirklich ein Abenteuer. Durch unseren Tourguide Jonathan hatten wir die beste Zeit auf dem Weg zu Machu Picchu. Er war immer spontan, gut gelaunt und hat das beste aus allem gemacht, um uns den Trip nach unseren Wünschen zu gestalten. Gerne wieder!

    I had planned to trek the classic Inca trail but due to the protest disruptions, the only available alternative was this trip. A good option for those who want a more varied experience: the mountain biking and rafting were enjoyable, but the hiking through spectacular jungle terrain taking in river crossings, high passes and meandering trails was incredible. I skipped the Zipline for more hiking, which was gratefully received. The trip was all that more special by being led by the most amazing guide, Percy who provided an excellent service and was full of knowledge and enthusiasm for the beautiful sites and scenery, and also provided a superb tour of Machu Picchu. Gracias.
