On this tour you will visit the legendary Inca citadel of Machu Picchu after a 4-day trek. The trek takes you through the enigmatic Inca Trail, which connects the Sacred Valley to Machu Picchu. During the trek you will explore the numerous pre-hispanic ruins scattered along the Inca Trail, such as Puyupatamarca and Wiñay Wayna. The trail, which runs through the Andes mountain range, travels through a variety of Andean ecosystems, including cloud forest and alpine tundra. The Inca Trail ends at the Sun Gate on Machu Picchu mountain, which provides a unique view of the citadel during sunrise. The bus and train tickets to return to Cusco are included.

    I traveled with Javier (guide) and my three gal pals (we’re 25). We LOVED the Inca sites along the way and the porters who carried our stuff and cooked for us were the BEST! A once in a lifetime experience, but it was TOUGH! Javier was so patient, understanding, and FUN the entire way. I got sick during the trip due to the altitude and he took great care of me.

    Impeccable trek to Machu Picchu from Cusco with John. I am very happy and content the way the tour was organised and conducted. They took care of the tiniest thing to make this a perfectly memorable trek. The guide's knowledge on Incan civilization was impressive. We had a dedicated chef who always cooked delicious and fresh local food. The campsites were very comfortable and well equipped. I have no disregard for the company or the crew who were the part of this four days trail. I am happy to reccomend them. Thanks a lot!
